The New 2019 Subaru Ascent is the Latest Subaru Model to Be Produced at the Subaru Plant in Lafayette, IN!

The new 2019 Subaru Ascent isn't just the latest addition to the Subaru lineup of vehicles, it's also the latest vehicle in production at the Subaru plant in Lafayette, Indiana, creating around 200 new jobs and putting even more money into the growing plant here in America. The Ascent joins the Outback, Legacy and Impreza as the four vehicles being produced at the Lafayette, IN plant, which over the past five years has seen more than 2,000 jobs created and provided a positive economic impact on the area. Over the last five years in anticipation for the Impreza and Ascent, Subaru invested around $1.5 billion, showing that they not only believe in the present, they're preparing for the future as well.

Subaru of Indiana Automotive, or SIA will produce around 400,000 vehicles every year with the addition of the Ascent, bringing the number to over five million since production started at the plant in 1989, which is just one more reason to be excited about the arrival of the new 2019 Ascent. To mark the occasion of the addition of the Ascent, SIA presented $8,000 in grants to local nonprofits that focus on animal welfare, including Almost Home Humane Society, Natalie's Second Chance No-Kill Dog Shelter, North Central Indiana Spay and Neuter, and the Loving Heart Animal Shelter.

The new 2019 Ascent is set to arrive at dealerships in a few months, and if you want to learn more about the all-new three-row, eight-seat SUV before it's arrival, we welcome you to come talk to our experts at Don Miller Subaru East today!
