Introducing the 2020 Subaru Outback — Coming Soon to Don Miller Subaru East

The New York International Auto Show marked the debut of the 2020 Subaru Outback. According to press releases about the unveiling, this new Subaru SUV has been overhauled inside and out. All the changes result in better capability, increased safety, additional comfort, and more convenience. See what you can look forward to when it finally goes on sale at Don Miller Subaru East!

Some Updates for the 2020 Subaru Outback

Performance — As with previous iterations, the 2020 Subaru Outback will continue to carry features that are proven to work such as the Subaru Symmetrical All-Wheel Drive System, Vehicle Dynamics Control, and more. However, it will also see improvements under the hood. This latest model will receive a 2.4-liter turbocharged BOXER engine for the first time since 2019. In comparison to the standard 182-horsepower 2.5-liter BOXER engine, the turbo configuration yields 260 horsepower—resulting in a towing capacity of 3,500 pounds. That means the 2020 edition is the most capable yet!

Safety — The architecture of the 2020 Subaru Outback has been optimized for durability by increasing the rigidity of its body. There are better crumple zones as well, absorbing 40-percent more impact forces to protect the occupant chamber. However, the last thing Subaru wants for drivers is to experience an accident. That is why all models now feature Subaru EyeSight Driver Assist Technology that includes a first-ever DriverFocus Mitigation System in addition to reoccurring favorites like Blind Spot Detection. The outcome is a safer ride as a whole.
