Subaru knows a thing or two about practical cars. Not only is the brand well-known for equipping nearly all of its models with standard all-wheel drive, they all earn stellar safety scores as well as praise from consumers on their overall comfort and versatility. Well, you can add another attribute to that list with the introduction of the 2016 lineup -- high-tech. The latest Subaru models can come equipped with a lengthy list of advanced safety systems to aid the driver in tough calls, close calls, and even emergency calls.
The 2016 Subaru Legacy, for instance, can come equipped with a suite of safety systems bundled under the Subaru EyeSight® package. These driver assistance features range from blind-spot monitoring to adaptive cruise control and collision mitigation with automatic braking. Subaru even thought to add on/off capability to many of these features. So if lane departure warning just isn't ideal for the type of roads you're driving on, simply disable if for another time.
Not sure where the on/off buttons are in your car? We encourage you to reach out to the technicians at the Certified Subaru Service Center here at Don Miller Subaru East to have them show you around your vehicle's dashboard.
