The new Solterra is developed as part of a joint venture between Subaru and Toyota. This venture marks the second collaboration between the two brands since the Subaru BRZ back in 2012. The joint venture combines Subaru's years of experience in all-wheel-drive technology with electrification technology developed by Toyota.
From what I know, the new all-electric 2023 Subaru Solterra features a bespoke chassis and frame not previously seen on any Subaru model. The Solterra will feature a long-wheelbase body, with each body panel sculptured with aerodynamics in mind.
To create such a futuristic vehicle, the engineers at Subaru spent countless hours and months to combine capability, driving dynamics safety to craft a dedicated Electric Vehicle platform.
The result of this research and development is a technologically advanced all-electric SUV that will take Waunakee drivers on their next grand adventure in a durable and capable package.
The interior will feature a fully digital display with an LCD touchscreen for ease of use. The cabin should feature a full suite of driver-assist features in addition to smart device connectivity.
