If you asked any of us old-timers here at Don Miller Subaru East, we'd tell you that this lineup of ours has come an awfully long way over the years. They're safer, they're faster and more fuel-efficient than ever before. Not for nothing, but they're also pretty easy on the eyes.
And now that our very own Subaru Legacy is turning 25, what better time than now to take a stroll down memory lane.
All the way back in 1989, the very first Legacy was introduced to the world. That very same year, it set a new 100,000km world speed record. Next thing we knew, it was earning a gold medal at the 1993 World Racing Championship in New Zealand.
From there, new generations of Legacy models were born, more world speed records were broken and more awards were garnered. Now in its fifth generation, one could have hardly imagined what this nameplate would accomplish over the course of 25 years.
