Back in April, our favorite automaker here at Don Miller Subaru East serving Sun Prairie outdid themselves after breaking sales records left and right. Now that May's numbers are in, we can't say we're surprised that things are going better than ever.
Last month, Subaru posted year-over-year sales gains after selling 39,892 vehicles in the US. It was their best-ever May sales month in company history and their 30th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales growth.
Once again, it was none other than the Subaru Forester that led the way with sales of 14,146 units last month (a 40.5% year-over-year increase for the nameplate and its best sales month ever). Then again, milestones like these are always the result of a concerted team effort, and if things keep going like they're going, we just hope Subaru can keep up with the masses.
"We are having another great year," says H. William Cyphers, senior vice president of sales at Subaru. "Every model line is in demand and our challenge is to keep supply levels high enough to keep the customers coming in our showrooms satisfied."1
