This time last month, our favorite automaker here at Don Miller Subaru East was ringing in April with some record sales in March. As exciting as it was, it was only just the beginning. Because now that April's sales numbers are in, the good times just keep getting better.

Last month, Subaru sold 40,083 vehicles to satisfied customers across the US. Not only was it a 22% increase over their April 2013 sales, but it was their best April sales in company history. From a year-to-date standpoint, they've sold 152,471 vehicles and counting over the past four months (also a 22% year-over-year increase).

As for the best-sellers that helped them secure their 29th-consecutive month of year-over-year sales gains, one can't help but be proud of the 2014 Subaru Forester that led the way with 11,547 units sold. And if things keep going like they're going, May is looking awfully good.

"Demand for the Forester has been incredibly strong," says Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer at Subaru of America, Inc. "We are looking forward to the all-new Legacy and Outback models arriving into our retailers this summer to even further boost consumer interest in Subaru models."1
