WRX Drivers say "Snow? What Snow?"

If there was ever a time to really see how superior new Subaru vehicles are in the snow compared to their "rivals" all you have to do is wait until we get another nice big storm here in Madison. You can watch everyone in their Corollas and Accords struggle to get up small hills with their FWD and unable to quickly leave stop signs without spinning their tires. Watch long enough, and you are bound to see someone drive by having a ball in their Subaru.

Standard AWD and traction control on almost every model means Subaru vehicles like the Outback, the Legacy, and the WRX feel right at home on icy and snowy roads. Want some proof? Check out this Subaru rally car crushing these drifts during the recent Sno*Drift Rally:

It is sort of amazing how this sport has not caught on more here in the U.S., but who knows? Maybe if enough people realize how awesome owning a vehicle like the high-peroframnce WRX actually is, demand for more Rally sports will go up.
