It's no secret that the Subaru brand has been on a steady ascent for years now. The company has seen record-setting sales and an increase in customer satisfaction while maintaining strong safety ratings and low emissions levels. So it makes sense that they would be at the top of J.D. Power's American Customer Satisfaction Index (ACSI) with a score of 836 out of 1000 points! If you aren't driving a new Subaru around Sun Prairie, it is time to head to Madison, WI to check out the inventory at Don Miller Subaru East.
The ACSI ranks brands and companies by studying customer feedback, with the average score set to 100. It seems that Subaru has been able to surpass customer expectations, following their mission of "what makes a Subaru, a Subaru." The ACSI also received high marks for other Japanese brands, including Nissan (829), Toyota/Lexus/Scion/Honda (812), and Sony PlayStation 4 Consoles (811).
So, what exactly is it that makes Subaru so special?
Some of the most impressive features are the high gas mileage, safety ratings, and great options for customizing. But these perks are nothing compared to some of their other accolades!
- The ACSI report says that there is a large increase in customer awareness about electric vehicles (EVs).
- The report also mentions that once buyers get in the door and see the options, the number of people choosing SUVs and crossovers has surged.
Subaru currently offers six SUV/crossover models for drivers from Waunakee to Watertown, WI: Outback, Forester, Crosstrek, Ascent, Legacy & WRX. According to the report, SUVs and crossovers accounted for nearly 25% of all vehicle sales in 2018.
The rise in popularity of these vehicles is likely because they are larger than people's typical daily drive cars, allowing them to have more storage space. They also tend to be higher off the ground, so drivers are more protected from the elements.
The number of people choosing to go with a sedan is starting to decline in favor of larger vehicles that have more room and cargo space. Subaru currently offers five available sedans: Impreza, Legacy, BRZ, Crosstrek & WRX.
Whether you prefer an SUV or sedan, there is a Subaru for you. And with the recent accolades and recognition, it just makes sense to find yourself behind the wheel of a Subaru.
