The ACSI ranks brands and companies by studying customer feedback, with the average score set to 100. It seems that Subaru has been able to surpass customer expectations, following their mission of "what makes a Subaru, a Subaru." The ACSI also received high marks for other Japanese brands, including Nissan (829), Toyota/Lexus/Scion/Honda (812), and Sony PlayStation 4 Consoles (811).

The rise in popularity of these vehicles is likely because they are larger than people's typical daily drive cars, allowing them to have more storage space. They also tend to be higher off the ground, so drivers are more protected from the elements.
The number of people choosing to go with a sedan is starting to decline in favor of larger vehicles that have more room and cargo space. Subaru currently offers five available sedans: Impreza, Legacy, BRZ, Crosstrek & WRX.
